Harshita Toshniwal

Hey, I am Harshita Toshniwal, currently designing at White Box Studios. Since we are a small team of two designers, I have had the chance to work end to end on projects, not just designing a few screens, but mapping out flows, shaping product journeys, and creating interfaces that actually make sense, not just look good. Lately, I have also been exploring AI tools, using them to prototype faster, generate design assets, and explore new ways of thinking through ideas.

Majoring in marketing, along with hands on projects, helps me see design through the lens of behaviour, understanding what drives people, what catches their attention, and how human behaviour plays a role in every interaction.

Before this, I worked at Admatazz, a digital agency where I also got the chance to design my college’s website and lead the creative team for my college fest where my love for design and problem solving first began. Since then, I have been learning by experimenting: through books, side projects, and my time at 10kdesigners, where I got to collaborate with people solving real-world product challenges.

Outside of the hustle, I am all about dance and movies, they are my go to for inspiration. And food? I am all in 😋

At White Box Studios, I have worked across diverse industries, building websites and web apps from the ground up. I have led product flows, UX, and design decisions, working autonomously while collaborating closely with another designer, and using AI tools to speed up and enhance the design process.

Admatazz

Product Design Intern

April - June 2023

I contributed to various client projects, focusing on UI design and prototyping. I worked across teams to enhance the end-to-end product experience. I collaborated with senior designers to conceptualise designs and created user friendly interfaces.

Engaging with fellow designers and industry mentors enriched my skills and perspectives. I worked on projects for Y Combinator and Antler backed companies, collaborating with other product designers and industry experts. This experience deepened my understanding of design thinking and visual design, refining my technical abilities and approach to innovative problem-solving.

As the Creative Head of“Talaash” (2022-23) the intercollege fest of Jai Hind College, Mumbai, I was responsible for designing and overseeing the execution of event branding, stage production and design, signage, brochures and merchandise.
